Content London Catalyst Program 2025
WIFT Australia is proud to announce the launch of the Content London Catalyst Program 2025, a new professional development initiative supporting early to mid-career producers to expand their international networks and market experience through attendance at Content London, one of the world’s leading global TV and film markets.
Taking place from 1 - 4 December with registration and opening party and screening on December 1, Content London attracts more than 3000 leading content executives from all over the world, with a focus on creating fresh partnerships around the most progressive ideas and initiatives
WIFT Australia's delegation will be led by respected UK-based industry consultants Julia Short and David Swetman and will depart Australia on 29 November 2025, returning 5 December 2025.
Up to four emerging-to-mid career producers selected for the program will receive:
Registration for Content London 2025 (valued at $2,200AUD)
Market preparation and mentorship Julia and David before the trip
Support and guidance on the ground in London from Julia, David and WIFT Australia Chair Leanne Tonkes
Assistance with coordinating and booking networking events, meetings and pitch opportunities.
Return flights to London from any state in Australia
7 nights accommodation in London
The program is supported by the Australian Government’s Export Market Development Grant (EMDG) Program.
ABOUT CONTENT LONDON
Content London is the world’s leading development market, conference and screenings, with a focus on creating fresh partnerships around the most progressive ideas and initiatives. The program features conferences, awards, workshops and networking designed to bring the international community together in one place at one time.
In 2025 C21 has expanded key features of the event in its mission to provide opportunities for producers and rights owners to find new ways to get shows made during a changing market. This year’s opening keynote will see Stephen Graham and Jack Thorne share their story behind Adolescence, the most defining drama of recent years, which attracted a global audience of 100 million within its first week on Netflix.

HOW TO APPLY
Applications close 5pmAEST 3 November 2025, with final delegates selected on 7 November. Successful participants will then receive one-on-one project support and mentorship, including individual strategy sessions, pitch feedback, and pre-departure planning.
WIFT Australia members wishing to apply for this opportunity must meet the following criteria:
Have at least 3 months’ until your WIFT membership expires
Be currently in development on a scripted TV project they wish to pitch at Content London
Have at least one long-form scripted credit (theatrically released feature film, broadcast television, etc)

MEET YOUR MENTORS
Julia Short, Screen Industry Consultant
Former Director of Content Inside Pictures, Europe’s leading film and TV business training and leadership skills program, Julia is an experienced screen industry mentor, having consulted for NFTS, MetFilm School, London Film School, and mentored producers from Creative Scotland and Film Agency Wales training initiatives.
David Swetman, Senior VP of Content and Commercial Strategy, All3Media International
David Swetman currently serves as the Senior VP of Content and Commercial Strategy at All3Media International. David has progressed through a number of roles at All3Media including Senior Vice President of Scripted Content, Vice President of Acquisitions, and several executive positions focused on acquisitions and scripted content.
